SHARON VAN ETTEN / We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong
Novim albumom Sharon još jednom potvrđuje svoje skladateljske i izvođačke kvalitete.
We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong je njezino šesto dugosvirajuće ostvarenje. Tematski njime se osvrće na izazove koje su nam donijele zadnje dvije godine te novostečeno iskustvo majčinstva. Na albumu se ne nalaze singlovi Porta i Used To It koje je objavila uoči novog albuma o kojem je ona sama kazala sljedeće: “I wanted to approach this release differently, to engage my fans in an intentional way, in an effort to present the album as a whole body of work. These ten songs are designed to be listened to in order, at once, so that a much larger story of hope, loss, longing and resilience can be told.”

JEFF PARKER / Suite for Max Brown
“If I sit down at the piano or with my guitar, with staff paper and a pencil, I’m eventually going to fall into writing patterns, into things I already know. So, when I make music, that’s what I’m trying to get away from—the things that I know.”
