On September 28, I played my longest solo set ever at (((Stereo))) Montreal, my favourite club in the world. 12 hours.

There is nowhere to hide in long sets. They push my limits, both mentally and physically. I learn a lot about crowd control, storytelling and managing my thoughts and emotions. Nights like this help me become a better artist, which is all that matters to me at this point.

You can listen to 9 hours of the set. I left out the first 2 hours for better overall flow and could not record the final hour – my recorder ran out of batteries.

To me, Stereo represents the absolute top of electronic music clubs worldwide. It is one of the few places that gives DJs the canvas to play long sets under near optimal conditions – an amazing sound system, great monitors, beautiful and subtle lighting and – last but not least – a knowledgeable, demanding and unified crowd. – Pat
