Waiting and watching.
It was a rat’s nest. Not a literal one, but that is what her hair seemed to resemble every morning when she got up. It was going to take at least an hour to get it under control and she was sick and tired of it. She peered into the mirror and wondered if it was worth it. It wasn’t. She opened the drawer and picked up the hair clippers.
Was it enough? That was the question he kept asking himself. Was being satisfied enough? He looked around him at everyone yearning to just be satisfied in their daily life and he had reached that goal. He knew that he was satisfied and he also knew it wasn’t going to be enough.
Waiting and watching. It was all she had done for the past weeks. When you’re locked in a room with nothing but food and drink, that’s about all you can do anyway. She watched as birds flew past the window bolted shut. She couldn’t reach it if she wanted too, with that hole in the floor. She thought she could escape through it but three stories is a bit far down.

Noćas u Rudimentarnim poljima, nakon reprize Soda Fountaina ide upravo objavljeni album Gallon Drunka, ‘The Soul of the Hour’, a potom nastavljamo druženje s radijom KEXP, uz nastup njujorškog pjesnika/kantautora Mike Doughtija, te pripadni intervju s njim.
Upravo objavljeni album “The Ship” Briana Enoa prvi je njegov rad od 2005. i albuma “Another Day on Earth” na kojemu se pored ambijentalnih pasaža nalaze i (uvjetno rečeno) klasični pop brojevi, konkretno obrada Lou Reedove skladbe “I’m set free”. Dvadesetominutna je naslovna kompozicija inspirirana potonućem Titanica (čiju smo stogodišnjicu obilježili u travnju 2014.), a s kakvim idejama Eno dolazi nakon skoro četverogodišnje pauze možete preslušati u noćašnjem izdanju Polibiotičkih struktura, odmah po završetku repriznog izdanja Soda Fountaina.
Bez puno riječi, playlista je nastala u tek nešto više od 10 minuta. Biram za ove vruće ljetne noći i krijesnice što svjetlucaju oko vas.
