Film Noir (self-made soundtrack)

Današnja Vas glazbena lista Sode Fountain provodi kroz svijet mračnih pokrajnjih ulica, igre svjetla i sjena uvjetovane bljeskanjem neonske reklame nasuprot, svijet jeftinih barova i cjelonoćnih dinera, svijet zatamnjen dimom cigarete, baruta i magle pred zoru… Ukratko, dobro došli u svijet Film Noira!

Film Noir jest uvriježeni naziv za (u prvom redu) holivudske sineastke uradke nastajale od sredine četrdesetih pa do kasnih pedesetih godina dvadesetog stoljeća. To nedovoljno istraženo područje obiluje skrivenim draguljima prepoznatljivim po svojem specifičnom turobnom ambijentu, ciničnim i često beznadnim likovima, chiaroscuro igrama vizura i sjenki, kao i pozadinskom jazzerski toniranom glazbom koja samo pojačava atmosferu slutnje i isčekivanja.

Vizualni elementi Film Noira su, unatoč njegovoj zanemarenosti u međuvremenu postali tako očiti i jasni – radnja koja se najčešće odvija noću, u urbanom ambijentu koji izgleda neodvojiv od magle i kiše (ili su čistači upravo polili ulice pred zoru); sjenila za prozore kroz koja bljeskaju neonske reklame s nasuprotne strane ulice, prijeteće sjenke na zidovima, obavezne cigarete, kišni ogrtači i fedora šeširi; čitavu noć otvoreni dineri, obrisi vodotornjeva na krovovima višekatnica…

Ovoj je emisiji tek donekle cilj rekonstruirati atmosferu tih uglavnom zaboravljenih fimova. Pravi smisao leži u slaganju soundtracka koji čak i ne mora biti temeljen na tada korištenoj glazbi – naprotiv, obratite li pažnju, broj skladbi nastao prije sedamdesetih, kada je Film Noir već bio prošlost na koju se gledalo s primjetnom dozom nostalgije, može se izbrojati na prste jedne ruke. Prije kažimo da je ovo individualni pokušaj rekonstrukcije takvog ambijenta korištenjem uglavnom recentnih glazbenih brojeva.
